Reyna believes that healing is about reconnecting with the inner capacity for recovery that each person already holds. As a therapist, her role is to gently nurture the seeds of healing that may be buried beneath pain, fear, trauma, or uncertainty. She creates a safe, grounded, and nonjudgmental space where each client can explore their experiences with honesty, dignity, and care.

She is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) with a master’s in social work (MSW). I have extensive experience supporting individuals and families impacted by conflict, crisis, displacement, and identity-related struggles. My work is especially informed by years of engaging with survivors of sex exploitation and clients who have lived through trauma tied to culture, gender, sexual identity, and belonging.

Her practice is rooted in cultural humility, deep respect, and the belief that every person deserves to be met without labels or assumptions. She believes that family—however defined—is central to recovery, and that even one caring relationship can become a powerful anchor for healing. She meets each client at the level of shared humanity, with compassion, care, and openness.

She brings warmth and patience to her sessions, especially when working with individuals who may feel resistant or disconnected from therapy. She honors each client’s pace and boundaries, helping build trust and safety over time.

Her work is grounded in Narrative Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with an emphasis on emotional safety, cultural awareness, and client-led healing. She believes that therapy should be tailored to each person’s experience and inner strengths, recognizing that recovery is not one-size-fits-all—it must reflect the individual’s history, identity, and unique way of making meaning.

She supports couples and individuals of all ages—adults, youth, teens, and families—navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and life transitions. She is deeply committed to working with those who have experienced crisis, cultural shifts, displacement, and complex identity-related challenges, including those connected to gender, sexual orientation, culture, and belonging.
