My approach as a therapist is affirming and non-judgemental, and has roots in queer theory, intersectional feminism, and sex positivity. I believe in showing up authentically and welcoming all parts of those I work with to be witnessed. Co-collaboration is central to my work, and together we will seek to identify rigid thinking and behaviors while learning how to shift towards flexibility.

I work with adult clients (18+) who are seeking a deeper connection to self. This could include navigating challenging life events with agency, expanding more fully into one’s LGBTQIA+ or neurodivergent identity, or understanding the effects of trauma and intergenerational patterns.

All of us are embedded in a larger societal context. I both acknowledge the impact of the realities of today’s world, as well as question “common sense” labels and understandings. Life is messy and beautiful. I aim to co-create a space with you that allows for your wholeness to be present, known, and integrated. I believe that the therapeutic relationship can be a vital part of community-building that helps root us in a loving network of support.

Alongside depth-oriented talk therapy, I incorporate somatic techniques and mindfulness practices, recognizing the body as a source of wisdom and guidance. I have an eclectic style which pulls from psychodynamic and polyvagal theories with a trauma-informed and strengths-based perspective.

My identities as a queer, neurodivergent, creative individual inform my practice as a therapist and my path as a human. My undergraduate schooling focused on international studies and gender studies. I earned a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, during which I focused on queer and trans experiences and applying a social justice lens to mental healthcare.
