Come as you are! I am ready to walk alongside you in your journey of self-discovery and healing within a supportive therapeutic relationship that embraces authentic connection, curiosity, and creativity.

About Me

I am passionate about empathically empowering my clients to grow as individuals and overcome challenges using both counseling and art therapy techniques. Using a relational, strengths-based approach, I aim to create a space that allows clients to safely explore, express themselves, and work through difficulties. This journey is collaborative and primarily guided by you, the client, with my support. I believe in the strength of a trusting, non-judgmental therapeutic relationship to provide clients greater agency to successfully move toward their goals.

I utilize an integrative, trauma-informed perspective for treatment that draws primarily from holistic person-centered and Adlerian therapies. However, I also apply some aspects of dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as appropriate. Combined with these approaches, art therapy can add an additional layer to therapy through accessing emotions and perspectives that may not have readily surfaced through verbal processing alone. No art experience or skill level required! I am ready to meet you where you are to support your exploration into creative expression with a sense of openness and curiosity. While clients are invited to engage in art therapy, you are always welcome to choose whether to include artmaking in sessions or focus on traditional talk therapy.

I have experience working with older children, adolescents, and adults who are dealing with life transitions, self-esteem, identity issues, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, and trauma experiences. I am knowledgeable and affirming in supporting neurodiverse clients who have autism and/or ADHD, as well as individuals exploring or holding LGBTQIA+ identities. I work with clients from diverse backgrounds and practice with an awareness of these social and economic influences.

I practice as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Registered Art Therapist (ATR). I have also completed and maintained a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) certification. I received my Master of Arts in Counseling: Art Therapy from Adler University and Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art & Design with minors in Psychology and Art History from Alfred University. I have experience working as a mental health counselor and art therapist within private practice and therapeutic day school settings.
